Carl Larsson (1853-1919) was a Swedish painter, representative of the Arts and Crafts Movement. Together with his wife Karin (née Bergöö), he was probably one of the most influential Swedish artists, not (only) in the arts, but in the society and lifestyle.
"Larssons" (The Larssons) (1902) is a sort of sequel to a book that gave him international success: "Ett hem" (A Home), a collection of watercolours with his house and family as main subjects. Here we find again a collection of paintings with the same subjects, with accompanying texts and drawings.
Although the text is in Swedish (and not proofread), the illustrations can be enjoyed by anyone. And it is of course the illustrations that cause the filesize to be rather large.
As usual, all feedback is welcome
