Tom Piccirilli - Dead at 50 of cancer
Author Tom Piccirilli died July 11 (two days ago), but I am just now learning about his death. Piccirilli was an esteemed horror writer, having won a number of important awards in the horror genre.
I bought his first novel, "Dark Father," when it came out in paper in 1990. Throughout the past 25 years, I've enjoyed his horror fiction, in both novels and short stories.
