That's an interesting analysis (sentence #1). My experience has been mainly with the opposite--stuff like advertising copy, promotional materials, [I]et al.[I], mainly. ha. That may have affected my thinking.
I hope that you didn't feel like I was being critical. You could have the better idea. Thanks for all of your suggestions.
