Reading articles about the new B&N CEO, there was an offhanded mention of a new Nook e-ink reader. My hopes were raised temporarily.

But then B&N is closing their international e-book stores. They've dumped their Nook for PC, Nookstudy for PC and Nook Windows 8 apps. It's like they are intentionally shrinking the Nook market.
