I was only considering a real TOC html page, like shown in this screenshot, and not just accessed from the <-> icon in the menu. I always prefer a real TOC page and I assumed that's what you were referring to.

So you're right, there's no TOC just from the <-> icon. But it does appear once I let Sigil create a real TOC html page as part of the book, then the <-> works as it should as well.

Sorry for the misunderstanding and confusion.
