A version of the Asus Zenpad S 8.0 is now available at Best Buy for $199!

This is the Z580C version which appears to be a pared down version of the Z580CA beast.

The Best Buy version doesn't have pen support, it has Micro USB instead of Type-C, it has a slower processor, the cameras are not as good and it weighs 19 grams more.

However it does have a 1536 x 2048 (320 ppi) display which in my opinion is the most important feature on a tablet to be used as a reader. $199 appears to be a decent price for these specs.

It looks like the higher end version will be going for $299 but it's not available yet. B&H does have a product page for it.
