Thanks for your replies.

The dictionary is a French stardict dictionary. In the meantime, I will make do with a manual search (using the handles).

EDIT: the alleged problem was due in fact to a bad selection of a dictionary (English instead of French). I did not notice the switch. Sorry for this false report.
