Calibre crashes on attempting to connect to Kindle

Hi,

recently Calibre has started to crash when I connect my Kindle. I am using Archlinux, and the output on running as 'calibre-debug -g' is:
Code:
calibre-debug -g
calibre 2.31 isfrozen: False is64bit: True
Linux-4.0.7-2-ARCH-x86_64-with-glibc2.2.5 Linux ('64bit', '')
('Linux', '4.0.7-2-ARCH', '#1 SMP PREEMPT Tue Jun 30 07:50:21 UTC 2015')
Python 2.7.10
Linux: ('', '', '')
Starting up...
Started up in 1.42 seconds with 489 books

Found device nodes: /dev/sdd1 None None
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
The kindle is being recognised by my OS, and indeed I can mount the Kindle manually. What I don't understand is the device node "None None" bit .... presumably this is what is causing the crash.

Regards,

Ian Sutherland
