wikia in place of wikipedia

TBH, Wikipedia doesn’t pack enough moolah when it comes to elaborating something related to a franchise. Wikia, on the other hand, is curated greatly enough to be *closely* considered canon, IMHO. I was wondering, if a tool/function can be built which can redirect a word/phrase when selected from the menu to the wikia of the particular book, and not to Wikipedia.

I know this has to be somewhat challenging, but I am pretty sure this is doable. Eg: if I am reading a book from The wheel of time series, then maybe I can edit the book/do something that will point out to http://wot.wikia.com/. This goes for all the books for which there are corresponding wikias.

Thoughts??
