But what happens when I'm stranded on a desert isle? Sure, the professor can probably make me a coconut powered charger, but I'll rue the day I bought an e-reader with no SD card
On a slightly more serious note: one plus to micro SD is that (in theory) you could eject the card from an old reader, plug it in to a new one and all your books are there.
(I say all this, though in general, I agree with your sentiment.)
