And yet, if you search B&N for free ebooks, and sort them newest to oldest, you will see quite a few that aren't in English. Perhaps they will sell some Spanish language ebooks in the US, but I don't think there will be large markets for German, French, Italian, Dutch, etc. Clearly someone thought it a good idea to market these freebies through the NOOK store. I wonder if they know something that B&N doesn't.

(Of course, the fact that I couldn't filter the search by language is just another symptom of B&N's website woes.)
