I bought a leather case for my Kindle Basic (7th gen) from Etsy. It is (a) heavy, (b) smells like leather (both good and bad), (c) bulky, (d) stiff and (e) expensive. Ultimately it made me realize that plastic cases are better than leather for Kindles.
For both the basic and the paperwhite I use Amazon's official case. For the voyage I use a nice faux-leather third party case (think it's Fintie).
