I hear you. Also,
Prime launched in
2005. It would be more honest and literal to call it the 10th anniversary sale since they are only offering it to Prime members.
I had been buying from Amazon LONG before they even introduced prime. Back when they only offered
books, and before they established a Canadian site, and I had to work out the USA:CDN exchange rate to see if buying the item as a logical decision. (I was one of those naughty people who browsed exclusive bookstores, noted a title, and saw what it cost at Amazon, and ultimately ordered it there)
If I had a wish list saved up and money to spend, I would have been
personally disappointed. But as I said in an earlier post, I bought a Kindle from Staples (Staples and Amazon.ca had it for the same price but Staples had it right there) at the end of June, and that's my "big spending" for this year.
