I find it irritating that they are celebrating
20 years of business by rewarding only selected loyal customers with a sale ie those that have elected to join prime. I've been a loyal amazoner for a long time and don't get to participate in the celebration sale.
Prime is probably wonderful
if you are in the US but as someone from down under it sucks big time, yes we can join but if we do we don't get any price break on shipping, we can not access any video or music(unless we spoof our IP address) so that just leaves the elibrary which means for my $99 I get one free ebook lend a month yippee
My biggest annoyance with it is that I'm a movie buff and collect blurays and they have started adding bluray and dvd titles into an exclusive to prime section so often a new release will
only be available for sale to prime members, sometimes months after a title has been released its still sitting as exclusively prime meaning I have no choice but to find another retailer to buy it from.
Now the cherry on the cake they are having a sale that's bigger than Black Friday but only for some of their customer

so for me prime=totallynotcool
