Calibre Companion Deletes Books From Calibre After Downloading

Hi everybody,

My apologies in advance if this particular question or issue is addressed elsewhere, or is obvious. I read through the FAQs and forum threads and didn't find a solution.

I am currently trying out the CC Demo version, as it seems to me to be a better integrated and more flexible interfacing option, as compared to my current process of sharing books across devices using Dropsync or USB connection.

I have Calibre 2.20 on several computers, which share a library stored on cloud storage. I haven't upgraded to the most current version for reasons of continuity across devices. Perhaps this is an issue, or a wrinkle in the setup. The issue is that when I download a book from Calibre, using Companion, it is then deleted from Calibre on the desktop, and from the library on the cloud. This seems to be case whether I connect via Content Server or Wireless Device Connection.

I haven't found any configuration setting that would seem to effectively enable or disable such behavior. I'll continue to poke around and will post an update if I come upon a solution to this issue.

Thanks for any responses.
