my kindle voyage offered me an update last night. it did not force me to take one,. I think it said something like " an update is available, would you like to download it"... and then nothing happened after " yes please" until I did a restart, at which point it began the install
I accepted out of curiosity, wondering if anything would happen re hyphenation / fonts - but all looks exactly as it did before the update.
( I had just " bought" the new for July Kindle first book: Elven, which has the new annoying hyphenation when read on my Fire HDX. So I enabled wifi on voyage to see how it behaved there after a direct download, - no hyphens. Then I allowed the update/ rebooted.... still no hyphens. Maybe that was some minor update and not the anticipated "biggie", as the bookerly font has yet to appear. )
