Sorry, but you want to do Surgery, you need to get you hands dirty.
Editor is the scalpel tool you will need.
Conversion tools are for tiny (repetitive: like Page x) fixes.
If you are lucky, the 'page' (epub do not really have pages. Sections is a more logical term), many publishers do build using file per section

You just delete that section file and save. (note, the TOC may now need updates)
Easiest, is probably to go back to your source (word/ODT...) and use the tool you know.
