Oh, that was the intent of your 'Is this official' question! Well, IMHO 'official' would require a notification by the publisher of the book as to its publication (release) date. I'd personally also tend to believe a major retailer's announcement as well. Of course May is a 'month', not a 'date', so is not a very accurate measurement.

...oops, you said May 10th (it was my post that just said 'May'), where did that come from?
