It really isn't fair to rely on a $10 (i would guess in bulk) battery for a device that can cost anywhere from $100 on up. This includes Phones, Readers, portable music players, and more. Some portable music players can cost close to $1000 and in some cases more than for a device that relies in a battery that's not replaceable.

This is unacceptable and should be rectified.
