Under what condition, running the framebuffer switcher as compiled at the start of the thread or did you recompile it to not have the AuraHD bugfix or something altogether different?

Because the switcher at the start of this thread will erroneously cause rotations on some devices....
and fix rotations in others...

So:
Here's a more flexible version of fbswitch .
By default it does NOT rotate the buffer, and assumes the kernel isn't lying about the rotation -- but it will rotate the framebuffer by 180 if you add a command line switch of -r. So you can fix the problem (or not) as you desire.

I haven't tested it, but it's only five lines different than the last program...
Worst case it will always do the opposite of the earlier program, so choose whichever program works correctly for your device.
