So I've had my i86 for about a week now, and am working on a review.

I'm generally happy with it. The design is somewhat improved from the engineering sample. I can install lots of apps from Google Play. And the page turn speed is within shouting distance of my 2013 KPW.

Here's a few details I've noticed when comparing the i86 to my Pocketbook Inkpad.

The i86 has a much faster page turn but a splotchy, dim, and uneven frontlight which looks like it was made in 2012. The InkPad's frontlight is brighter and more even.

Both touchscreens are fine for me, and I'm happy with the font rendering and other options.

I'm probably going to do a comparison post before the general review. At this point I would pick the InkPad for reading Epub but the i86 for the Android apps.
