Hello!
I am badly in need of some sort of assistance in purchasinh an eReader!
Here are some information of mine:
1. It will be my first time owning an eReader.
2. I read mostly at night.
3. My eBooks are mostly in epub format.
4. I live in Philippines.
5. I can't get my hands on eit5her one since the bookstore that sells near mine has no stocks available and I have no friends or relatives who uses one.
6. I will be mostly be doing sideloading of files.
7. My antivirus detects the Kobo Desktop App as a virus.
On one hand, here's what I found while doing a research of eReaders available here in Ph:
1. A bookstore near my place is selling Kobo Touch and Glo. However, it may take them a month or so before I get mine. They will be getting the stocks in their branches which have one. Nonetheless, the store offers something like if I buy anything worth Php1000, I get 1000 points in turn. 1000 points = Php10.
2. Kindle Touch, PW and Voyage are available only thru online sellers. I can get mine from Amazon directly but it will cost me more due to customs and everything. Sellers offer freebies.
3. Aura is also available thru an online seller and sells cheaper than the Glo on the bookstore. However, they only offer a 7-Day Store Warranty. And no freebies.
4. Glo, Aura, PW 2014, PW 2015 are on the same price range.
Sorry for so much info but I hope you can help me in deciding which one I should get.
