To instal Google Play Store and get it to work properly, you need to root your device, install Play Store and several other Google apks, and then change permissions on them so they will work. nightboy has things pretty well automated for you there. If for some reason that doesn't work, I can take you through the process, step by step.

Tip: If you try those instructions, you need to run them in Windows with your T62 connected to your computer's USB port.
