4) True, as developer I am used to stackoverflow where research come up in the stack because of the votes, I love this forum but find really time consuming going through 5+ pages to find an info, so sometimes I prefer to start new threads, this is a bad approach I apologize as in some ways is unrespectful for the other users.I f everybody would doing would be a chaos. Point taken on this one! Not to justify but I am starting new topics because I am conviced we are almost there with the "definitive ereader" android is the way indeed
Working/studying as jr developer on the night/weekends and corporate analyst every morning does not give me too much time to go deep in the eink subject especially because (unfortunately) I do not work on that field I am just a reader addict that living in Amsterdam do not have space for bookshelves, so sometimes I am too fast in my judgments, do not give the due attention to the English grammar, and start new posts too abruptly.
You are right, will try to start less of them but the point is that as user I am frustrated by the fact still does not exist an ereader that cover all the features I need, although the technology is already there since ages and a minimal effort by sw developers could be made( for instance yesterday I was so surprised that in the kindle ios once you filter all the results of the highlights per color, there is not one soft key to go back to the highlights page filtered... that for a programming point of view is really a trivial function of three rows: an explicit intent and a loader interface)
Regarding the youtube video to be a bit sharp
I think I gave a nice recommendation, that somebody could even monetize it, I think a lot of views would come by this video with really minimal effort, as the great good ereader channel fellows so far focused their wonderful reviews per device and not per app, and judging from the number of people that is reading the android session( 40T), they would be really followed as video..
I don do it personally for a simple reason, still I do not own any android eink device, because I do not feel satisfied with the existing ones. But after our speech, I have a clearer track ereader pro+ with Golden Dict, ASAP will go deep in this mini project to understand if it is a workable solution for me(
