Never knew about the debug service option, but if it's provided by nickel it would be no good for me since sometimes I like to kill nickel ^_^; although I doubt they'd actually duplicate this functionality when busybox already packs telnet and ftp servers.
It should be visible in pstree? With most telnet mods it would look like this:

I actually use softfloat for the Kobo. I wasn't sure if all Kobo's had hardware floating point support and even though one of my programs uses floating point (
pngshow via lodepng) I did not notice a difference in performance.
