My Calibre folders live in my OneDrive folder, it works well, no problems so far. But I have hourly backups of my system for redundancy. Don't keep it on cloud only. But I do have suggestion for you:
Use rsync to keep your Calibre library synced between your bedroom, living room and OneDrive.
