Whether it's an author that's died, or just one that hasn't put out anything new in a series in a long time, I hate wasting my time searching for new books when there hasn't been anything in years... SO, in Calibre, how do I mark entries for those authors so I can ignore them in future searches for new books?
Coloring Rules
Preferences: Behavior: Column Coloring (a tab)

The column is where the color appears
the rule is which ITEM (row) is affected

I have one that sets the Title if there is a tag "<In_Paper_Library>'
another I set Authors if there are no formats (An empty book: AKA next release in a series or Wishlist)
