I switched to Kobo when Barnes and Noble removed the ability of customers to download ebooks from their website. It was a move which was driven mostly by an emotional response rather than a logical one, I mention this only to establish that I was frustrated going in.

I pre-ordered the H2O, and began counting down the days to when it would ship. I got an order confirmation, they took my money, but I didn't get any shipment information.

Three or so calls over various days to Kobo and I finally had my tracking number. The kicker? My H2O was set to arrive on the next weekday. I've heard similar stories from others. Seems the major issue with ordering from Kobo is something to do with how they or the Canadian postal service handles shipments for tracking, the actual shipping is rather quick though.
