FW 5.8:

Implemented:
1. Enhanced procedure of Wi-Fi connection. Now there is no need to turn off Wi-Fi to save power, Wi-Fi-module automatically goes into power saving mode when there is no transmission of information via the interface. It is enough to configure Wi-Fi connection to access point once for further automatic network connection establishing.
2. The graphical interface of firmware updating process (instead of text mode, which was used previously).
3. More comfortable books samples reviewing in BookStore application.
4. Further development of network libraries service (OPDS). Cases of not valid XML-files in some network directories were handled (cases when a book did not appear in the catalog, when some books were displayed without covers or when it was impossible to download some books). There was optimized data processing of network directories, thus the work with the network libraries has been speeded up.
5. Increasing of the file system scanner speed (indexing of books in Library application now runs two times faster).
6. Further elaboration of app Library: the books covers rendering speed has been increased; scrolling of the lists in the application has become more comfortable.
7. Modification of ReadRate service (enhanced performance of ReadRate menu).
8. Browser app performance has been increased.

Fixed:
1. In some cases an incorrect display of the number of items in the search results in Library app.
2. In some cases the wrong recognition of paging gesture while reading books in pdf format.
3. Incorrect fields cropping in the DjVu format when cropping separately odd and even pages.
4. Possible reader application “freezing” in the case of dictionary usage in pdf-formatted documents with cropped fields.
5. Possible Device “freezing” after creating of large number of user profiles.
6. Other minor changes.
