Which is all you need, its going to be a reference value for CMOS - current draw most likely in the fractions of a nano-amp (A.K.A: Open Circuit - hold battery ends between fingers, that will draw more current than the CMOS reference input will).

The battery idea is good, but I was thinking of some dc to dc regulator/transformer is more reliable when I actually do the jailbreak few years down the road when I have time. thx
