Well the card works, its a good card as far as things go. I think this issue is related to the firmware not the hardware/memory cards. Its mostly unlikely that kobo would kill the card... but it could happen (just really remote).I would send your card back to the manufacture if possible for warranty as it would be my guess your card was bad from the get go. That said, there are issues at work here, for how many, and how often that's not yet known.
