I see that too with my cheap cover for the Glo. Closing it and opening it again wakes it

I have load the device with about 35 books, but only 2 show up with new on the frontpage, there is a lot more page for tiles, but it doesn't put them there.
So there are about 6 or 8 tiles on the frontpage, the rest is empty.

That sounds normal. Any time books are added to the device one tile will be added to the home screen. If one books is added, it will show that book with "New" under it. Tapping it will open the book. If two or more are added in a batch, a library tile will be added. This will show the number of books added in the batch. Tapping it will show the library.

By accident, I enabled a book where only the cover was downloaded by the sync (the book is still on Kobo's server) the tile of that book is still on the front page "waiting for download",but the cover itself is out of the library, I can ignore the tile, but not cancel the download.

I'm not sure what the problem is. That is expected behaviour for kepubs from Kobo that haven't been downloaded yet. If you want to get the tile off the home screen, long press on it and choose dismiss.

Many times, at the end of a book (kepub) the device hangs while it has to return to the main menu, but the stupid thing is,when you open a book, go to the last page, then tap it,it returns without hanging the device, I only noticed it while reading. (on both devices, running on 3.16)

There are quite a few database updates when finishing a book. It takes a few seconds, but doesn't feel like the device hangs. I haven't refinished a kepub, so I haven't noticed that.

I think software depended, but there are no games at all in the betasection, only the browser is there.
I read reports about available chess or other games in 3.16 but there are none.

Correct. The executables for the games are included in the firmware but for some reason Kobo haven't put them on a menu. There is a thread here somewhere to add a tile on the home screen for them.

The normal Glo is responding slower in hot temperatures, bulding the screen is really slow, the Glo HD doesn't care about it,it is the same speed.

Interesting, but it will be a few months before it is hot enough here to test this. Though, I don't remember noticing anything different with the Glo last summer. Maybe I slow down to match the Glo when the temperature goes past 30ºC.
