Thanks for the suggestion. I looked on the Nook (it's old, V1.1.5) and I do not see anything to allow you to turn off hyphenation. There are several old articles on the Internet about turning off hyphenation with CSS file statements, but I don't want to go there.

Valor and discretion: I'm just not putting in the nbsp. Only copy editor purists would know...
