None of my zip disks are still working. It could be the drive I suppose. I started with four drives.
I do however have a couple of CD-Rs that are about 20 years old and I could still read as of last year. They are gold archival disks that cost about $30 a piece in spindles of 100 when I bought them. They were burned in a 1X burner in 1996 or 1995.
