In the early days of ebooks there were so few available that when anything new came along that I thought I might possibly like I bought it immediately.
Now that more backlist titles are available I've bought lots of old series by authors I really like so I have a backlog of things to read.
I don't feel the need to buy as many new books now, especially those at close to hardback prices. Except for a few authors, I usually wait at least until the paperback is released and the ebook price comes down (or if applicable, until I have a good Kobo coupon).
