You have to have an Amazon account to buy books from Amazon. Where did the books that you said you formerly had come from? If Amazon, you need to try and get reregistered to that account, or you will never have access to those books again. If necessary, contact Customer Service.
You should be able to use a debit card that has the Mastercard or Visa symbol on it, or buy a prepaid card, or buy an Amazon gift card from a store, and apply that to the account. One or the other - card or gift card. How else do you expect to pay for books?
