New Releases - Calendar sites like FictFact or others?

I was noticing a lot of summer books coming out in the next month or two that I was interested in. I realized I had to spend time 'hunting' for books. I had no real good resource to tell me about release dates.

How do you guys keep track of up-coming releases?

I used the power of the inter-web to search for sites that might give me this information. One of the sites was http://www.fictfact.com/ looked pretty remarkable. It appears to be a SERIES based book site.

FictFact gives you a calendar page http://www.fictfact.com/BookReleaseCalendar where you can just click on a date and the bottom changes to show you what is being released on that date.

If you sign up - you can create custom lists by book series or authors and the site will send you a weekly email about new releases (something Amazon could learn from). This looks kind of cool. It looks like once you have an account you can change the Calendar to show all books or just the authors/series you have on your list. This could be useful for budget planning.

If you select a book - you are taken to an information page with all the books in the series properly numbered, and a BUNCH of places to purchase from. (If it would just list prices...)

My one caution - why have I not heard more about this site from you guys? I got started with ebooks from MobileReads (Sony PRS) and I am a faithful user of Calibre, Sigil, etc. because of all the recommendations here.

Call me a bit foolish - but can FictFact be all that good if people here do not use it?

What do you guys use to see, plan for up-coming book releases?
