I probably wasn't clear, sorry. This thing doesn't sleep at all. I'll try to find this another battery life thread you're mentioning, though. Thanks a lot.
There's no Google Play on the device, I didn't root it, and it comes without GP. Don't know any particular CPU manager, but I'll google for it. They all probably do require rooting anyway.

Thanks for confirming my complaints. Do you have also the same issue with not going to sleep on timeout? Now I feel a bit happier –– don't get me wrong, not because somebody else has the same troubles, but just because it means the problems are general and not caused by some individual defects of my device. Hope Boyue guys are aware of the situation and will update the fw soon.
