I love the Joe Picket series and read this one as soon as it came out. I agree, it is one of his best! Wish he wrote faster....

I just finished Louise Penny's 5th Chief Inspector Gamache book -- The Brutal Telling -- wonderful! Love this series. I have the next one (Bury Your Dead) on hold, but in the meantime I'm reading the 2nd Maisie Dobbs book -- Birds of a Feather (author: Jacqueline Winspear) and enjoying it very much.

Oh, also recently finished the 7th book in The Project series- "The Ajax Protocol" by Alex Lukeman (10 books in all, latest one came out last month "The Solomon Scroll"). Kind of over the top, secret govt special ops team (like the others) but a quick, fun read.
