A Kobo Glo would be a good option. However, if the epub format is the only thing keeping you from getting a Kindle, I would explore options for converting your books into Kindle compatible formats. I say this as someone who use to own both a Nook classic and a Sony PRS-350 before switching to Kindle. If DRM is an issue, there are ways to deal with that as well.
