First of all, you need to find out what version of the T62 you have. They come in T62B, T62C, and T62D flavors. Firmwares are not interchangeable between the three. You can find out which one you have by checking out About Device in Settings. In the same way, firmwares on other devices based on the T62 (like the Energy Sistem Pro) also are designed for one of those options (B, C or D). As long as you use a B on a B or a D on a D, you're okay.
As far as which firmware is the best, that depends on what you like and feel is most important. You'll get many different responses on this forum, I think. I have used the Boyue firmware, the Icarus Illumina E653 firmware, the Energy Sistem Pro firmware, and the Onyx Boox C67ML firmware. The first three are very similar, as they are all based on the Boyue firmware. Each has their own tweaks. The Energy Sistem firmware seemed a bit better for battery life. However, with a little extra work, I have that Onyx Boox C67ML firmware running on my T62+. I like it best of all, partly because I like the Onyx Neo Reader and partly because battery life and screen contrast seem better. Other users will have other results.
