Last night I finished 14 by Peter Clines. About an apartment building with secrets. Nate moves into this apartment in Los Angeles where the rent is cheap and even include all the utilities. However, he finds some strange things in the building; the light in his kitchen is black light, no matter what kind of light bulb he puts in it. There are several room locked with several padlocks and the caretaker doesn't like questions asked about these oddities. Together with a growing group of curious fellow tenants Nate tries to unravel the mysteries of the Kavach Building.
It's heavily inspired by H.P. Lovecraft and admits to that. I would have liked it if Clines would have written more about what happens in the last couple of chapters (can't tell what it is because it would spoil the surprise).
