They've been doing some store specific specials too (for ex. only on B&N or Apple). It's agency pricing now, but since there is no most favored nation clause it means the prices don't necessarily have to carry through to every store this time around just that it's the publisher who sets them.

Right, I've seen cases where this happens, particularly Kindle Daily Deals or Nook specials. But there are other publisher advertised specials that they never match such as those on the
Avon website (the page is outdated but these prices never appeared on harlequin.com even when they valid at all other retailers).
