I'm with you on this one, I wouldn't buy a reader without a page turn button. It's not that I'm against touch screens, but as you stated its needing a second hand to read and I have no problem even reading on my side with the DX in one hand.

Having had a K2 and then replacing it with a DX, I'm curious as to what I'm missing with the the old firmware. What do the newer ones do that the older ones didn't?
I think the DX failed because the it was just so much more expensive. I justified the cost of my iPad (to myself anyway) because it's capable of so much, but for the longest time the DX was almost $300 and before that closer to $450 IIRC.
I didn't buy mine until the price dropped to $199 and the case was $10 when Amazon did the 5 payment no intrest deal last year.
