Occasionally Amazon starts selling the DX again, from the leftover stock. Those seem to sell well enough.
In any event I think I have demonstrated that Amazon is to be downright praised for their above-average dedication to their old devices. As I said, even the Original Kindle still works fine -- even though they didn't get the very latest new features.

Your Apple comparison is still ridiculous.
