The H2O is NOT 6". It is 6.8". Yes, it is heavier, but the difference is negligible. The H2O has a lot more to process and with a good font, you get a better reading experience because you get things like kerning, user adjustable margins, line-height, user installable fonts, hyphenation, and more.

The screen of the H2O is very even with the light off and the light is very even when on. There is a very thin shadow at the bottom of the screen and that just goes across the footer. None of the text of the book is bothered y the shadow. The rest of the screen is very well light and very even. Besides, the light is so good that if you turned it up to that high a brightness, it would be too bright. In the dark, I am able to easily read at 4% brightness. So if 4% is good, 50% would be overkill. But there is no real uneaveness to the light and the screen.

I say go for the Kobo Glo HD or wait for the upcoming Kindle. No point getting the Aura with older screen tech.
I agree not to go for the Aura, But I don't agree to wait for the PW3. The H2O has a very nice screen and light and it's larger. It feel more like you are reading a book than a screen.
