Although, it kinda reminds me of when I was a kid, and I'd be waiting YEARS for the next Robert Jordan book in The Wheel of Time to come out. I remember seeing a fresh new hardcover out on the shelves with the usual weirdly proportioned people on the cover art, thinking "yes! finally!!!' Then on closer inspection to see it was a new series of Conan the Barbarian by Robert Jordan. I was all "Seriously?? I've waited three years for Wheel of Time and you're wasting time with CONAN??"
Selfishly, I've always thought that maybe he'd have had time to finish his own series if he hadn't written that Conan book...

But at least we can count on Jim to come out with at least one book per year, so we're not waiting and waiting and waiting.
