Vertical text?

I've been asked to design an ebook of rather avant garde poetry. I can just about cope with the long lines and indented lines, but one of the poems in the paperback has the text set at 90 degrees to the other poems. That is, the poem starts at the bottom edge of the page and runs to the top edge, and one would have to rotate the paperback 90 degrees to be able to read the poem.

I haven't the slightest idea how to format this poem, or even whether it can be done. Any ideas or suggestions? It would be particularly helpful if I could be pointed to an ePub ebook which does this so I could take it apart to see how it's done.
