I'm not sure which MULBESS, of the several models on offer, you bought but I bought the one labeled
Mulbess Kobo Glo /Glo HD Premium Genuine Leather Case Ultra Slim Cover for Kobo Glo /Glo HD with Magnetic Auto Sleep Wake Function Color Wine Purple. It doesn't have the problems you mention. The magnet is quite strong (but it doesn't cause any problems switching the reader off when the cover is folded back). The front cover is rigid and the stitching is good. All in all it works pretty well. The only 'complaint' I have is purely self-inflicted
I chose the wine purple colour which turns out to be rather dull in real life.
