Toooo bad, because I'm french, and I'm reading exclusively in english on my ebook to improve my english level... so I need to translate words very often.

Now, instead of proposing me a translation, my Kobo goes back to the previous page, of switch to the next (thinking may be i'm a slow reader).

I can ensure you that this issue is reproducible, and reproduced a lot indeed.

I'm currently ot 60% of the 2nd book of "a song of ice and fire", so it will be a long way juggling with these aleas...

@MacEachaidh Thank you ! I'm glad I'm not alone
Hi IntheAlps,
In a sense, I'm sorry to read this. I can understand how very frustrating it is.

So, I wonder what the factor is, that some people see this problem, but most (apparently) don't?

User error? Possible, but I don't see how.

Corrupted firmware? At Kobo's insistence, I've done full factory resets and let the software upgrade through the Desktop three times now, and each time the issue has returned. And as I've previously posted, Kobo CS acknowledged they could reproduce the issue on one of their reference devices.

Variation of components? I wonder about this, whether it's due to a variation of components within the one model from different suppliers. I asked Kobo about this, and they took it seriously, and said they'd investigate -- but I've never heard back on it.

Kobo says they will replace the device, even though it's now no longer under warranty. But they did say that if the replacement also has this problem, I'm on my own -- so it's not a great solution. (Heck, it's not a solution at all.)

Maybe, if there's a new revision of firmware on its way (I note that 3.16 is not for the Aura HD), that might resolve the problem? Who can say? That's why I was hoping Kobo might be able to identify the issue in time to be included in the current development cycle.

Any suggestions, anyone?
